These terms are short because the site does two things: it publishes guides and it accepts messages.
What Vernadique is
An independent publication of written guides about casual puzzle games, produced by a player rather than by anyone who makes them. It is commentary and instruction. It is not an official resource for any game and not a support channel for any studio.
The one thing that is sold
- A single item is sold: a PDF handbook written by the publisher, described on the handbook page.
- No in-game currency, lives, boosters or accounts are bought, sold or given away here.
- No files, modified clients or private servers are hosted or linked.
- No prize, competition or giveaway is operated from this site.
- No advertising and no affiliate links appear anywhere on it.
- No payment is processed on the site itself; no page here accepts a card number.
Anything presenting itself as Vernadique while trading in the items ruled out above is not this site.
Ordering, delivery and your rights
The seller. An individual, Ella Martin of Fremantle, Western Australia, selling occasionally rather than as a registered business. No ABN and no GST registration, so no tax invoice is issued; a plain receipt is available on request. The price shown is the total in Australian dollars.
Placing an order. Sending the form is a request and charges you nothing. A contract exists only after I confirm the order by email and you pay by transfer. Payment is arranged over email and never on this site.
Delivery. The file is sent to the email address on the form within two business days of the payment clearing. If it fails to arrive, tell me and it is resent at no cost.
Faults and refunds. If the file is not delivered, will not open, or is not what the handbook page describes, you choose between a repair, a replacement and a refund. That runs alongside the Australian Consumer Law guarantees, which cannot be excluded by agreement. As a digital file delivered on payment there is no automatic change-of-mind right, but an order cancelled before the file is sent is cancelled in full and nothing is charged.
Accuracy and change
Guides are written from playing the games and are correct so far as I can establish on the date shown on each page. Developers change these games at will, so anything described here may stop being true without notice. All material is provided as is, with no warranty as to completeness, currency or fitness for a particular purpose.
Reuse
The text, the layout and the site's own graphics are the publisher's work. Quoting a reasonable extract for review, criticism, teaching or news reporting is fine provided Vernadique is credited and the page is linked. Republishing entire guides, or feeding them into a service that reproduces them, requires written permission first; it is usually granted when asked.
Game names, logos and screenshots are the property of their owners and appear here for identification and commentary only. Nothing on this site licenses them to you.
Outbound links
Links go to official store listings and occasionally to other publishers. Those destinations are outside my control and I take no responsibility for their content, accuracy or availability. A link means the page was relevant when added and nothing beyond that.
Liability
Use of this site is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for loss arising from reliance on any guide, from a game behaving differently than described, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Use of the contact form
The form is for messages about this site. Bulk mail, malicious content, offers to buy links and advertising proposals are deleted without reply. Attempts to interfere with the site or its hosting are not permitted and will be reported.
Law and revision
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Revisions are published here with an updated date, and continued use after that date means the revised terms apply.
